Why this is the Belmont studio.

We are locally owned, attached to a spa, and we publish every price. Charlotte’s forty-plus studios stop at the Catawba. Gaston County is still open ground — and this room is built for it.

Searching “pilates Belmont NC” still returns aggregator pages that list businesses in Cornelius, Shelby, and Forest City. Those pages have domain authority. They do not have a reformer on Central Avenue. We do.

Kenny and Lindsay Holvig opened Wellness Experience with William Henry so Belmont could have a dedicated reformer practice without driving into Charlotte. Reviews keep saying the same three things: the studio is stunning, the instructors are patient, and it is not a huge chain. That is the product.

Amenities include a tranquility room, showers, lockers, and a sauna through the spa. Park once. Move. Recover.

Belmont Pilates, in plain answers

Do I need experience to take a reformer class in Belmont?

No. Most of our new clients have never stood on a reformer. Classic and Express are built for first-timers. Instructors scale every exercise, and we walk you through the machine ten minutes before class so you are not learning in front of a full room.

The fear we hear most is looking foolish or being the least fit person in the room. Small classes and live coaching are how we take that apart. You will not be filmed. You will not be left on the hardest spring.

What should I wear to Pilates — and do I need grip socks?

Wear fitted, comfortable clothing you can move in — leggings and a fitted top. Skip anything loose that can catch in the carriage. Grip socks are required on the reformer. We keep spares at the desk, and your first pair is on us.

Socks matter because the reformer carriage slides. Bare feet slip; thick athletic socks bunch. A thin grip sock lets you feel the machine and keeps the upholstery clean for the next body.

How much does Pilates cost in Belmont, NC?

New clients start with WE Start Here: {classes} classes for ${price}, valid 14 days. After that, a drop-in is $29, a five-pack is $139, and memberships run $99–$299 a month. Private sessions start at $79. Our prices are on this website because you deserve to know before you walk in.

Five of the six studios in our trade area hide their prices behind a phone call. We do not. Memberships are Once is Chic ($99, 1×/week), The Duo Edit ($179, 2×/week), Triple Luxe ($249, 3×/week), and The All-In Edit ($299, unlimited, one class per day). Cancel 14 days before the next billing date.

Where is the studio, and is there parking?

We are at 405 N Central Ave, Belmont, NC 28012, inside William Henry the Spa in downtown Belmont. Free parking is available at the building. It is about 6 minutes from Cramerton, 9 from Mount Holly, and 14 from Steele Creek.

Look for William Henry the Spa — the Pilates studio is part of the same address. Come ten minutes early on your first visit so we can show you the room, the springs, and the showers.

Is this a chain, or locally owned?

Locally owned. Wellness Experience Pilates was founded by Kenny and Lindsay Holvig in partnership with Somer and Preston Wilson of William Henry. We are not Club Pilates, and we are not a template franchise page.

Kenny and Lindsay relocated from New York to Cramerton, noticed Belmont did not have a dedicated reformer studio, and built one inside a spa the town already trusted. That is the whole story, and it is the compliment Google reviews repeat most often.

Can I take a class and then get a facial?

Yes. We are the only Pilates studio in Gaston County attached to a spa. Reformer class, then a facial, sauna, or the tranquility room — same building, same parking space. That is the difference nobody else in this market can copy.

William Henry the Spa sits on the other side of the door. Book the movement with us and the recovery with them. Ask the desk if you want help pairing a class with a treatment.

What is the cancellation policy?

Please cancel at least 12 hours before class to keep your class credit. Memberships can be cancelled with 14 days' notice before the next billing date.

How often should I do reformer Pilates?

Two to three times a week is the pace that changes how you feel. Our Duo Edit membership ($179/month) is built around that rhythm. Once a week still helps; consistency matters more than heroics.

Retention in boutique fitness climbs through the first four visits and then holds above 90% from visit five. That is why we care less about a perfect first class and more about getting you back for the second.
